In the heart of ” orange grove ” country , the area of Jimena is renown for it's lush green countryside , rolling hills and stunning scenery . The villa has been adapted to the very particular requirements of it's owner, a well known , sculptor . The ground floor of the villa has a very large 80m2 Artist studio , with double doors and large windows , Making it easy to move large canvasses or sculptors in and out of the studio. The studio connects to the main living room , which again is an exceptionally large open room , which has been deliberately left open plan to accommodate sculptors, but could easily be partitioned to create separate rooms if required. The living / dining room space as it stands has a large working open fireplace and a wood burning stove in another part of the room. The kitchen is a few steps up from the living space, and is open plan with a breakfast bar, loking down towards the living area. On this level are 2 guest bedrooms and a large modern bathroom . The first floor is occupied by one large master bedroom suite , consisting of the bedroom, with a pretty window seat , fully fitted wardrobes and glorious views to the countryside. There is a full size walk in dressing room , a large modern bathroom and a sitting room . Access to an enormous 1st floor terrace that runs the entire length of the house, a fantastic spot for relaxing, sunbathing , and enjoying the amazing views. Exterior A very pretty , spacious large covered terrace, off the living room , provides a lovely space for outdoor living . Ample room for seating and dining areas. Steps down lead to the 1st section of garden, which has a 5m x 3․5m swimming pool . Further steps lead down to the final section of the garden area , where there is a well built stable with tack/feed room , paddock area and gated access to the road beyond. This stable block has water and electricity and could easily be converted into a guest cottage. To the front of the house is a covered car port. NB. There is space to build a larger swimming pool if required. There is a typical Spanish Venta – a bar that serves traditional tapas and food in just a few minutes walk from the property . The nearest village is Estacion de Jimena – just 5 minutes drive away , In Estacion de Jimena there is a small train station, with trains running to San Roque and Ronda .
